At FASTSIGNS, we are seeking a highly skilled Sign Production Specialist to join our team. As a Sign Production Specialist, you will be responsible for the physical production of signs, including preparing substrates, operating machines, and applying vinyl letters and graphics.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare substrates for vinyl application, including cutting, painting, laminating, and cleaning.
- Operate and maintain printer(s) to produce high-quality signs.
- Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images, using various techniques depending on size, type of vinyl, and complexity of the image.
- Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting a Work Order and then proofing for errors or unacceptable standards.
- Perform finishing operations such as laminating, encapsulating, and/or mounting printed pieces.
- Communicate with other employees and customers calmly and professionally.
- Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager or franchisee.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
- Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate.
- Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work.
- Ability to use light power equipment.
- Competitive Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour.
