Position Summary
We are currently seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Supervisor for our exceptional 288-unit community. This role is ideal for individuals looking to advance their careers within the property management sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance staff and external contractors engaged in the upkeep and repair of building structures and grounds.
• Manage apartment renovations, service requests, structural repairs, and landscape maintenance.
• Solicit and evaluate bids from contractors, presenting findings to management for decision-making.
• Order and receive supplies, appliances, and equipment from vendors.
• Oversee work performed by external vendors, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct inspections of facilities and equipment to assess service needs and equipment requirements.
• Develop work procedures to align with production schedules and enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Property Manager in planning and managing the maintenance budget.
• Participate in after-hours and emergency response as required.
Qualifications:
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in property management as a Maintenance Supervisor.
• Familiarity with Yardi software is preferred.
• Proficient in various trades related to property maintenance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous supervisory experience is essential.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance are required.
• Availability to work weekends and overtime as necessary.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $32.00-$34.00 per hour. We offer a competitive benefits package that includes a 401(K) match, rental incentives, bonuses, and discounts based on location. Full-time employees working 30-40 hours per week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits, along with vacation and sick time accrual in accordance with applicable laws.
