Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Government Jobs. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of skilled construction, maintenance, repair, and remodeling tasks on City buildings, facilities, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform duties in a variety of building maintenance and construction trades, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, locksmith, electronic, carpentry, glazing, and mechanical trades.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and consultants on specific tasks.
  • Respond to routine and non-routine maintenance requests generated by facilities work orders and resolve customer complaints regarding building or facility problems.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in one or more of the building maintenance and construction trades, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
