The Arlington Public Schools strive to create an inclusive and safe learning environment that values diversity and promotes growth. As a Lunch Monitor, you will play a vital role in ensuring students have a positive experience during lunch.

About the Position:

  • This is a part-time position with flexible hours, typically 2-3 hours per day.
  • You will work closely with building administration, teachers, and custodians to maintain a smooth lunch period.
  • Assist students in moving through the lunch line and provide support as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure students follow school rules and regulations during lunch.
  • Wipe down tables after each lunch group to maintain a clean environment.
  • Communicate effectively with students and staff in a calm and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children is preferred.
  • Flexibility and adaptability are essential for this role.
