Job Summary:

The Clinical Technician II works under the direct supervision of the RN and is an active member of the healthcare team. This role involves performing routine duties involving the care of patients, including direct patient care or activities of daily living, observing changes in patient status, providing a clean and safe environment, transporting patients, and other related duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine patient care duties, including bathing, dressing, and grooming patients.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as eating, toileting, and ambulation.
  • Observe patients for changes in condition and report any concerns to the RN.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, including cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Transport patients to and from departments and units within the hospital.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Equivalent experience or completion of a Clinical Technician II program required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Minimum of 6 education hours related to current role.
