Job Overview

Pyramid Healthcare Inc is seeking a skilled Intake Counselor to join our team in Asheville, NC. This role involves conducting screenings and level of care assessments, facilitating admissions, and making referrals to community resources.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, or related field. Preferred qualifications include LCAS and LPC or LCSW certifications. The salary range for this position is $55,000-$59,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct screenings and level of care assessments using clinical knowledge and skill level.
  • Facilitate appropriate admissions to all levels of care based on Locus and/or ASAM criteria.
  • Makes appropriate referrals to community resources and outside referral opportunities in the best interest of the client.

Requirements:
  • A Master's Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
  • Preferred LCAS and LPC or LCSW certifications.
  • LCASA, LPCA, or LCSWA required.
