Queens Botanical Garden Society seeks a visionary leader to serve as our Director of Development. This key role is responsible for driving fundraising efforts to support the organization's mission and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to grow annual operating budget and diversify funding streams.
- Identify and cultivate key relationships with institutional funders, including foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
- Lead the development team to achieve fundraising goals through individual giving, membership, and special events.
- Collaborate with senior staff to develop and execute fundraising campaigns and events.
- Manage and analyze fundraising data to inform strategy and optimize results.
- 7+ years of experience in fundraising, preferably in a non-profit organization.
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing fundraising strategies.
- Strong relationships management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of donor management software and technology.
- Competitive salary range: $110,000 - $130,000.
- Excellent benefits package, including medical, vision, dental, and life insurance.
- Generous PTO and paid holidays.
- Access to the Museums Council pass.
