Job Summary: We are seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team at Digestive Disease of Rockland in Pomona, New York. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering IV medications, supervising post-endoscopy recovery rooms, and assisting medical assistants with patient assessments. Additionally, they will provide infusions as needed and ensure accurate inventory management of controlled substance medications used by anesthesiologists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconstitute and administer IV biologic medications, including placing and removing IVs.
  • Supervise post-endoscopy recovery rooms and monitor inventory of controlled substance medications used by anesthesiologists.
  • Assist medical assistants with patient assessments and provide infusions as needed.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of New York.
  • BCLS/ACLS certification preferred.
  • At least two years' experience as a registered nurse.
  • Experience in infusion therapy required.
