Job Summary:

The Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) is seeking a skilled Certified Dental Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our dental department, you will provide exceptional chairside support to our dentists, ensuring the highest level of patient care and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist dentists in performing four-handed chairside dentistry, taking and developing radiographs, and taking and pouring impressions.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Escort and prepare patients for dental treatment, pulling and filing patient charts as needed.
Assist with radiology, including exposing and processing radiographs.

Requirements:

Current certification as a Dental Assistant from the DANB (Dental Assisting National Board) required.
Current license to practice dental assisting in MA by the Board of Registration in Dentistry required.
Radiology and BLS certification required.

Preferred Qualifications:

At least 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred.
Previous experience with dental practice management, electronic charting, and digital radiography systems preferred.
