Position Title: Email Engagement Strategist

Position Summary:

The Email Engagement Strategist is responsible for establishing and enhancing procedures that ensure effective communication with members of Texas Dow Employees Credit Union.

By collaborating across various departments and systems, the incumbent organizes and formulates strategies to optimize member interactions for improved outcomes and experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Directs the email marketing initiatives for Texas Dow Employees Credit Union by executing impactful strategies throughout the member journey, fostering member growth, and strengthening relationships. Collaborates with the Marketing team to design, test, segment, schedule, and launch email marketing campaigns. Monitors, assesses, and analyzes the performance of email initiatives to maximize effectiveness, providing insights for program enhancement. Works closely with essential stakeholders to develop messaging and strategies that align with both immediate and long-term growth objectives. Oversees the management of email lists, segmentation, and cohorts, identifying opportunities for future campaigns or automation. Remains informed about the latest trends and best practices in email marketing and multi-channel marketing automation. Develops, monitors, and refines marketing automation processes. Engages in competitor and industry research to inform strategies and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications: (Education, Licensure, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required; or a comparable combination of education and work experience.

Licensure:

Experience:
  • At least one to three years of experience in email marketing and automation is required.
  • Experience with multi-channel marketing automation workflows is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Expertise in managing the email campaign lifecycle.
  • Understanding of email marketing best practices, including template creation, dynamic content, testing strategies, list segmentation, drip campaigns, deliverability, and compliance with CAN-SPAM regulations.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience in campaign evaluation and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Able to meet deadlines while handling multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid General- On average 2 days per week of onsite work is required. More or less may be required depending on business need.
