In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales activities such as generating and following up on leads, crafting proposals, conducting cold calls, and attending trade shows. You'll also demonstrate sales leadership and manage customer relationships through general account management activities.
Job Responsibilities:- Achieve or exceed new sale quotas and renewal ratios set for the Account Executive position.
- Engage with new and existing customers to understand their needs and demonstrate how our products and services can meet those requirements.
- Provide prompt and accurate responses to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, applications, and credit terms.
- Negotiate prices, credit terms, and other sales and service agreement details. Identify prospective customers through various channels such as business directories, referrals from existing clients, industry organizations, and trade shows.
- Prepare or delegate the preparation of sales contracts for new and renewal orders, submit orders for processing, and arrange for billing.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share information on selling strategies and marketing initiatives. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, emails, and proposals that clearly explain product specifications and applications.
- Provide training (remotely and onsite) to individual client users on web tools and product usage through clear instructions, effective communication of complex concepts, and professional presentation skills.
- Attend sales meetings and trade shows (up to 50% travel), and stay informed about market conditions, business trends, and industry developments by reading relevant publications.
- Complete expense reports, sales reports, and other necessary paperwork. Participate in product and development training as required, and successfully pass related certification exams.
- Maintain accurate customer records using automated systems. Document all customer interactions and transactions, including inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken to resolve issues.
- Provide valuable feedback to the company's production department and marketing team to ensure products are tailored to meet client needs.
