Electrical Estimator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team at United Software Group. As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed estimates for electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create estimating folders and upload contract drawings, specifications, and other documents.
  • Review contract drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy.
  • Schedule pre-estimate meetings with team members and perform data entry of takeoff into estimating software.
  • Send out requests for quotation for specific electrical components and draft complete scope letters.
  • Schedule pre-close-out and close-out reviews with team members and submit proposals on time.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience estimating in the electrical industry.
  • Ability to perform conceptual estimates and utilize Accubid estimating software.
  • Knowledge of electrical construction means and methods, National Electrical Code, and State and local code requirements.
  • Self-starter capable of working independently and as a member of a team.
  • Ability to estimate multiple projects at the same time and meet deadlines.
