About the Role

As a key member of our Litigation and Product Liability team, you'll play a critical role in supporting our efforts to provide innovative solutions for the agricultural and construction industries.

Responsibilities
  • Provide legal support to our Product Liability Litigation and Toxic Tort Group on product liability-related counseling, claims, and lawsuits.
  • Conduct research, provide legal recommendations, and alternatives for complex legal questions and issues in support of defending Deere in product liability and toxic tort claims and lawsuits.
  • Review legal documents for compliance with applicable laws.
  • Stay current on emerging trends in the law through continuing legal education, reading, professional conferences, and participating in professional associations.
Requirements
  • 1 or more years of experience in the general practice of law in a private law firm or corporate law department.
  • 1 or more years of litigation experience.
  • 1 or more years of experience reviewing and analyzing legal pleadings and briefs.
