About the Role

As a key member of the Litigation and Product Liability group at John Deere, you will play a critical role in providing legal support to the company's product liability related counseling, claims, and lawsuits. Your expertise will be essential in helping the company navigate complex legal issues and ensure compliance with applicable laws.

Responsibilities
  • Provide legal research, analysis, and recommendations to support the company's defense in product liability and toxic tort claims and lawsuits.
  • Review and analyze legal documents for compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging trends in the law through continuing legal education, reading, professional conferences, and participating in professional associations.
Requirements
  • 1 or more years of experience in the general practice of law in a private law firm or corporate law department.
  • 1 or more years of litigation experience.
  • 1 or more years of experience reviewing and analyzing legal pleadings and briefs.
