Deburr Technician I (2nd Shift)

Marotta Controls, Inc. is seeking a skilled Deburr Technician to join our team. As a Deburr Technician, you will be responsible for the deburring and polishing of various types of machined parts. This role requires attention to detail, excellent vision, and hand coordination. You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, utilizing various tools and equipment to ensure high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize deburr tools and equipment to remove sharp edges from critical valve components.
  • Perform parts inspections using measuring equipment and instruments.
  • Review documentation and inspect material to ensure safe and efficient production.
  • Participate in troubleshooting activities to resolve issues.
  • Coordinate work flow between work centers.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated finishing and/or buffing experience.
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
Work Environment:

This role interacts in a professional office environment and a manufacturing/machine shop environment. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures.

Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to talk and hear.
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms, and to use hands to finger, handle or feel.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

This is a full-time position with a 4-day work week (Monday-Thursday, 4:30 PM-3:00 AM). Overtime and weekend work may be required. No travel is expected for this position.
