Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Deburr Technician to join our team at Marotta Controls, Inc. in Montville, NJ. As a Deburr Technician, you will be responsible for deburring and polishing various types of machined parts, ensuring high-quality finishes and meeting company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize high-speed deburr tools and other equipment to remove sharp edges from critical valve components.
  • Perform parts inspections using measuring equipment and instruments to ensure conformance to quality standards.
  • Independently review documentation and inspect material to ensure safe and efficient production.
  • Participate in troubleshooting activities to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Coordinate work flow between work centers and assume responsibility for related duties as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated finishing and/or buffing experience.
  • Self-motivated with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with all levels of personnel.
  • US citizenship required.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a 4-day work week (Monday-Thursday, 4:30 PM-3:00 AM). Overtime and weekend work may be required. The employee will be regularly required to stand, sit, walk, and move about the facility, and may be required to lift and/or move items weighing up to 40 pounds.
