Requirements:

High school diploma is mandatory; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

FINRA SIE & Series 6 Licenses are essential.

State Life & Health and Series 63 or 66 licenses must be secured within 90 days of commencement.

Willingness to register and maintain registry with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) is required to comply with Safe Act mandates.

A minimum of three years of experience in banking, investments, cash handling, sales, and customer service is preferred.

Leadership or supervisory skills are advantageous.

Job Overview:

The Senior Licensed Personal Banker plays a pivotal role in cultivating a supportive work atmosphere that encourages, motivates, and recognizes outstanding performance. This position is tasked with delivering exceptional customer service while identifying sales opportunities and executing account transactions. The Senior Licensed Personal Banker is accountable for the effective implementation of consumer and business relationship-building initiatives within a full-service banking center.

This role primarily emphasizes daily sales objectives and requires proactive engagement with customers, addressing their specific banking needs both in-person and via phone. The Senior Licensed Personal Banker is also expected to dedicate considerable time to outbound calls aimed at customer onboarding, prospecting new clients, and consistently cross-selling banking products.

Additionally, this position assists the Banking Center Manager with targeted external sales efforts and participates in community service initiatives.

Fosters a sales-oriented culture within the banking center by demonstrating a strong ability to sell and cross-sell products and services.

Collaborates effectively with branch staff to promote a team environment and ensure collective goals are achieved.

Regularly reviews performance against banking center objectives and adjusts personal goals as necessary.

Engages in outbound calling activities to promote sales and make appropriate referrals.

Prioritizes and implements defined sales and service activities.

Promotes company offerings within the community to support the Bank's growth.

Ensures smooth day-to-day operations, including customer service and compliance with cash control measures.

Actively participates in sales and staff meetings.

Provides assistance to customers regarding various banking matters, including product explanations and issue resolution.

Builds effective working relationships with internal partners and seeks constructive feedback.

Demonstrates sound judgment and decision-making while adhering to established guidelines.

Maintains security protocols to protect against fraud and risks.

Upholds confidentiality of sensitive information and customer data.

Contributes to a team environment by assisting with incoming calls and supporting banking center operations.

Possesses problem-solving abilities to navigate diverse situations.

Additional Requirements:

Banking is a highly regulated field, and proficiency in the bank's policies and procedures is expected.

Completion of all assigned compliance training in a timely manner is mandatory.

Strong customer service skills, business development capabilities, and relationship-building expertise are essential.

Proactive selling and referral of solutions through WesBanco Securities, Inc. and Wealth Management are expected.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask are required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook 365 and other banking software is necessary.

Strong mathematical and analytical skills are preferred.
