FINRA SIE & Series 6 Licenses are essential.
State Life & Health and Series 63 or 66 licenses must be acquired within 90 days of employment commencement.
Willingness to register and maintain registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) is required to comply with Safe Act regulations.
A minimum of three years of experience in banking, investments, cash handling, sales, and customer service is preferred.
Leadership or supervisory experience is advantageous.
SUMMARY:
This position aims to cultivate a positive workplace atmosphere that encourages, motivates, and recognizes outstanding performance. Senior Personal Banking Specialists are tasked with delivering exceptional customer service while identifying sales prospects and executing account transactions. This role is pivotal in the execution of consumer-focused and business relationship-building initiatives within a full-service banking center. The Senior Personal Banking Specialist primarily emphasizes daily sales strategies and proactively engages with customers to address their banking needs, both in-person and via phone.
Additionally, the Senior Personal Banking Specialist is expected to invest considerable time in initiating outbound calls aimed at enhancing customer onboarding, prospecting new retail and WesBanco Securities, Inc. clients, and consistently cross-selling banking products and services. This role also involves assisting the Banking Center Manager in targeted external sales initiatives and participating in community service activities.

Continuously monitor performance against banking center goals, adjusting individual objectives and initiating sales promotions as necessary.
Engage in regular outbound calling activities within the banking center, utilizing customer lists for cross-selling and making appropriate referrals.
Set priorities and follow through on implementing defined sales and service activities.
Promote company products and services within the community to support the Bank's growth.
Ensure the smooth operation of daily activities, including customer service, opening and closing procedures, vault duties, cash level control, and inventory management.
Actively participate in regular sales and staff meetings.
Provide assistance to customers and potential clients regarding various banking matters, including product explanations and professional problem resolution.
Build successful working relationships with internal partners, seeking constructive feedback when appropriate.
Demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making by adhering to established guidelines and procedures.
