Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Residential Associate. In this role, you will be part of a dedicated care team assisting adults with significant mental health challenges. Your key responsibilities will include fostering life skills development, implementing therapeutic interventions, managing household tasks, administering medications, and maintaining precise clinical records. This position is ideal for individuals with experience as a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA), Direct Support Professional (DSP), Residential Assistant (RA), or similar roles in behavioral health.

Vocational Training Opportunity

For those starting as a QMHA-R, we offer a Vocational Training Program designed to enhance training, provide hands-on learning, and prepare for certification testing. This program allows qualified employees to complete the required 1000 supervised hours for QMHA-I certification in as little as six months.

Work Schedule:

  • Part-Time Day: Saturday and Sunday 10:00 AM - 7:30 PM
  • Part-Time Night: Sunday through Wednesday 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
  • Part-Time Night: Thursday through Saturday 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Compensation:

The hourly wage is $22.00 based on experience and credentials. An additional $2.50 per hour night shift differential applies during designated night hours.

Additional Compensation:

Bilingual or multilingual candidates may qualify for an additional 5% Language Differential.

About Our Program

Willamette Rose is a Residential Treatment Facility dedicated to supporting adult women transitioning from higher levels of care. Our facility is located in a serene environment that promotes healing.

ColumbiaCare Services is a recognized employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program. QMHA employees are also eligible for the Oregon Behavioral Health Loan Repayment Program.

Qualifications:

To be eligible for the Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) registration, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science (Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Development, or related field);
  • OR a minimum of three (3) years of verified behavioral health experience in a supervised environment;
  • OR a combination of relevant education and satisfactory behavioral health experience.

If not already registered as a QMHA, we will assist you in the registration process within 30 days of employment.

Driving Requirements:

This position requires a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Applicants must also pass a criminal background check.

Physical Demands:

The role necessitates the ability to frequently communicate, stand, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds. Additional physical tasks may include climbing, bending, and performing hands-on techniques during training.
