Role Overview:
The Head of Strategic Partnerships will be pivotal in cultivating vendor referral relationships by engaging with essential equipment sellers, ensuring alignment with company guidelines, and coordinating efforts across vendor and sales teams.
This role involves close collaboration with senior sales management and key contacts to identify, develop, and nurture robust business relationships among management, vendors (both established and emerging), and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance leasing vendor referral business by establishing and nurturing relationships through various channels, including emails, phone communications, client visits, and participation in industry events.
- Identify and solicit manufacturers, dealers, distributors, and independent equipment resellers to create referral partnerships.
- Anticipate customer needs and develop tailored equipment financing solutions through these referral relationships.
- Gather and analyze customer financial information to provide suitable financing options that meet individual requirements.
- Collaborate with existing vendors and customers to optimize their financing program solutions.
- Analyze, structure, and price transactions while partnering with internal Credit and Operations teams to ensure successful outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry-related tax, accounting, regulatory, and legal standards.
- Work alongside the executive team to drive originations and achieve gross margin objectives.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Highly self-motivated with a strong drive for results.
- Excellent follow-up and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish lasting relationships.
- Effective in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Education and Experience:
- A verifiable book of business is essential.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment leasing and/or financial services sales is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with CRM software is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive annual base salary starting at $80K, with eligibility for commission or bonuses.
