Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic HR Business Partner to join our team at In-N-Out Burger. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic HR support to our Stores and Corporate Departments.

As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with business leaders to understand talent requirements and business goals, driving talent review and assessments to ensure succession and performance calibration. You will also coach business leaders on team development, championing mentorship programs, leadership development, and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic HR support to Stores and Corporate Departments
  • Conduct regular meetings with team leaders to understand talent requirements and business goals
  • Drive talent review and assessments to ensure succession and performance calibration
  • Coach business leaders on team development, mentorship programs, leadership development, and training
  • Prepare internal equity analysis and provide recommendations for Support leaders
  • Work in partnership with other HR functions to contribute to key HR projects

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in a relevant field or equivalent years of HR experience
  • ~8+ years of Human Resources experience
  • ~5+ years of proven experience as a strategic HRBP with experience in talent development, succession planning, compensation, performance management, and workforce planning
  • Demonstrated ability to coach business leaders using effective communication, active listening, and motivational techniques for team development
  • Striving for excellence and aspirational in talent management initiatives
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with other HR functions and departments, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and adaptability in various project environments

Work Environment:

  • Full-time, Exempt
  • Monday-Friday, 8AM - 5 PM or a 9/80 compressed workweek with core hours from 8AM-6PM, with every other Monday or Friday off
  • Occasional Saturday shifts (8 AM- 5 PM) required (approximately 5 per year)
