About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team at Healthcare Financial. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring that individuals and families receive the support and resources they need to access vital benefits and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the follow-up process of Social Security applications to ensure timely and efficient processing.
  • Collect and verify necessary information and documentation to support approval of applications.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with members and government agencies to drive positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Meet productivity and quality standards while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with a preference for languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Chinese, Russian, or Mandarin.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or call center role, with a strong preference for experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and previous experience with health insurance.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of calls and meet deadlines while balancing competing demands and performance benchmarks.
  • Strong emotional strength and maturity to effectively interact with a challenging and vulnerable population.
