Corporate Coding Specialist

New Vista, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Corporate Coding Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will be responsible for overseeing the billing of all claims, collections, and follow-up as directed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage ICD-10 coding data to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date on all coding changes for insurance payers and CMS expectations.
  • Work as a liaison between New Vista and payers to resolve coding and medical record inconsistencies.
  • Effectively communicate with medical facility staff, patients, and/or insurance payers as needed.
  • Maintain monthly productivity standards at a rate of 95% or more of the assigned goal.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Highly organized, accountable, compliant, and team-oriented.
  • Professional, courteous, and respectful interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and basic revenue cycle experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year experience with healthcare billing.
  • Intermediate computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently and as a team member.
