The successful candidate will participate in weekly and monthly meetings to address front-end admissions issues, outstanding AR balances, billing issues, insurance issues, and denials.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Managing ICD-10 coding data to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and compliance.

• Staying up-to-date on all coding changes for insurance payers and CMS expectations.

• Serving as a liaison between New Vista Behavioral Health and payers to determine coding and medical record inconsistencies.

• Effectively communicating with medical facility staff, patients, and/or insurance payers as needed.

Requirements for this position include:
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Highly organized, accountable, compliant, and team-oriented.
  • Professional, courteous, and respectful interpersonal communication skills.
  • A strong work ethic and basic revenue cycle experience.
Preferred experience or credentials include:

• Minimum 1 year experience with healthcare billing.

• Intermediate computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently and as a team member.
