Position Overview:

As a vital member of our culinary team, you will be entrusted with the preparation, execution, and upkeep of your designated station. Your role is crucial in adhering to company standards and specifications, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a positive demeanor and a strong desire to learn and develop as both an individual and a collaborative team member.
  • Embrace constructive feedback from supervisors and trainers to enhance personal growth and contribute positively to the brand.
  • Ensure the availability of all necessary materials and supplies for your station.
  • Set up your station according to established guidelines to optimize guest satisfaction.
  • Prepare all food items in accordance with specified recipes and presentation standards.
  • Independently manage designated preparation stations under standard operational conditions.
  • Measure, cut, and prepare ingredients in line with sales forecasts and business needs.
  • Adhere to all company HACCP protocols and documentation throughout your shifts.
  • Handle daily requisitions for both food and non-food items efficiently.
  • Ensure proper receiving, storage, and maintenance of all products, including dating, labeling, and rotation.
  • Assist in training new team members within the department as needed.
  • Uphold safety standards while utilizing knives and other kitchen equipment.
  • Restock and deconstruct your workstation at the end of your shift.
  • Follow directives for stocking and cleaning all stations as required.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness across all coolers, freezers, and prep areas.
  • Cross-train on various prep stations and support colleagues to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure a tidy appearance and workspace, contributing to overall kitchen cleanliness, including the cleaning of all equipment and utensils at the end of each shift.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the company's products and standard operating procedures.
  • Communicate with management regarding low inventory levels and suggest new stock; address opportunities and concerns proactively.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by chefs, management, or supervisors, demonstrating a sense of urgency.
  • Understand and implement all safety and sanitation practices as outlined in the safety program, reporting any incidents to management.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures as detailed in the Staff Member Handbook.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of one year experience as a line cook in a high-volume, full-service restaurant is required; knowledge of relevant cooking techniques is essential.
  • A culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally with various departments and external contacts.
  • Capability to manage a demanding workload and multitask in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills.

Compensation:

$16-$18/hour
