C Lazy U is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading shifts, planning, and organizing production and execution for the day.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead Shifts and Teams: Supervise and motivate kitchen staff to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Production Planning: Develop and implement production sheets, manage inventory, and oversee the preparation of menu items.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to high standards of sanitation and safety.
- Product Receiving and Fabrication: Receive and inspect incoming products, and fabricate proteins, stocks, sauces, and bulk recipe production.
- Kitchen Culture and Leadership: Foster a positive and productive kitchen culture, and work closely with the Executive Chef and other senior staff members to maintain high standards.
**Secondary Responsibilities**
- Employee Dining Room Oversight: Assist in managing the employee dining room, including scheduling, inventory, and strategy.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of kitchen strategies, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff development.
**Requirements**
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct staff.
