Position Overview:

The Community Operations Manager plays a crucial role in showcasing apartment homes, implementing local marketing strategies, and providing daily assistance to residents and prospective tenants. This position also involves preparing lease agreements and organizing community events. The Community Operations Manager collaborates closely with the Regional Manager and supervises the maintenance team to ensure an outstanding resident experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Conducting tours of apartment homes for potential residents
  • Responding to inquiries via phone and email
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of community promotions, pricing, and communicating necessary adjustments
  • Scheduling appointments with residents to discuss lease renewals and options
  • Performing walkthroughs of units prior to resident move-in
  • Completing move-in documentation
  • Processing lease applications and informing prospective residents
  • Ensuring the property is well-maintained and addressing maintenance concerns
  • Adhering to company standards for documentation, resident files, budgets, and expense management
  • Traveling between Redwood communities may be necessary
  • Overseeing on-site staff, including hiring, disciplinary actions, and approving bi-weekly timecards
  • Performing other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of management experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proficiency in general computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales or leasing
  • Exceptional customer service abilities
  • Capability to operate smartphones, tablets, and computers

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, bending, and walking
