Position Overview: We are actively seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Labcorp. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering outstanding patient care while performing precise specimen collections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct blood draws using venipuncture and capillary methods across various age groups.
  • Collect specimens for various tests including drug screenings and paternity assessments.
  • Accurately enter patient data in a timely manner.
  • Handle billing information and process payments as necessary.
  • Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and analysis.
  • Maintain detailed logs of patient and specimen information.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all patients.
  • Perform administrative and clerical tasks as required.
  • Travel to additional locations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred: Phlebotomy certification from an accredited institution.
  • Prior experience in phlebotomy is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Comfortable working with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record may be required.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness assessment.
