Phlebotomy Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Float to join our team at LabCorp. As a Float Phlebotomist, you will have the opportunity to gain a vast amount of experience working with a variety of patients, team members, and clinics/locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other medical procedures
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred
- 6 months or more previous experience as a phlebotomist is preferred
- Must have a Valid Driver's License and good driving record
- Must be at least 21 years' old
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
