Job Summary:

As a Float Phlebotomist at Labcorp, you will have the opportunity to gain a vast amount of experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be working with a variety of patients, team members, and clinics/locations, developing your skills and setting yourself up for opportunities and continuous growth within the organization.

Responsibilities:

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups

Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other medical procedures

Process billing information and collect payments when required

Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis

Maintain patient and specimen information logs

Provide superior customer service to all patients

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred

6 months or more previous experience as a phlebotomist is preferred

Must have a Valid Driver's License and good driving record

Must be at least 21 years' old

Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service

Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

Ability to work independently or in a team environment
