The Role

We are seeking a skilled Sales Development Representative to join our Americas Sales Team. As the #1 low-code application development platform, OutSystems provides customers with everything they need to build apps incredibly fast. We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to help us generate new business opportunities in an assigned US Region by following a proven prospecting methodology.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Execute outbound calling campaigns to targeted prospects to generate "sales ready" qualified leads and set appointments for the OutSystems sales team to close new business.
  2. Respond to inbound inquiries from prospective customers (phone, email, and web), attaining key data to qualify the prospect, generate "sales ready" leads, and set appointments for the OutSystems sales team to close new business.
  3. Learn and execute proven processes to generate new sales opportunities.
  4. Strategize with top-producing sales managers.
  5. Map prospective accounts around organizational structure, people, and existing technology.
  6. Engage executives in targeted prospect accounts.
  7. Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects.
  8. Leverage CRM tools to prospect into specific geographic territories and sectors.

Requirements

  1. Minimum of 2 years Software/SaaS Business Development or related market/business experience.
  2. Understanding of the IT industry with a background of prospecting to IT decision makers.
  3. Outstanding communicator via phone and email to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  4. Ability to change priorities quickly, capacity to handle multiple tasks, perform at high velocity.
  5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, WebEx or similar web conferencing product, and CRM or sales management tools (salesforce.com preferred).
  6. Demonstrate strong desire to keep up-to-date on technology trends, changes, & best practices.

What We Offer

OutSystems offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and generous paid time off.
