Position Overview

Senior Emergency Response Technician at Providence Health & Services - Full-Time, 36 hours per week

Flexible Scheduling Options - Day, Evening, and Night Shifts Available

The Senior Emergency Response Technician is responsible for supervising the activities of Emergency Response Technicians. This role involves coordinating the orientation process for all newly hired Emergency Response Technicians, Patient Care Technicians, and Health Unit Coordinators, ensuring timely completion while collaborating closely with the Nurse Educator. Additionally, this position oversees the inventory management and sanitation of the department, as well as the execution of daily operational checklists. Acts as a key resource for fellow technicians and fosters a culture of quality patient care through exceptional customer service. This role reports directly to the Supervisor of Emergency Services.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire
  • A minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an Emergency Response Technician with proven leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification as an EMT, EMS, CNA1, or CNA2
