Role Summary
We are in search of a highly driven and imaginative individual to contribute significantly to our research initiatives. Your Responsibilities
- Seek research funding through grant writing initiatives
- Develop creative solutions to complex technological challenges
- Lead interdisciplinary teams of researchers and engineers to create advanced technologies for government and commercial clients
- Prepare and present technical reports to stakeholders
- Establish and nurture relationships with clients, collaborators, and suppliers
- Identify opportunities for intellectual property and business development
- Mentor and guide junior staff in their specific areas of technology
Essential Qualifications
- BS, MS, or PhD in electrical engineering, physics, or a related STEM field
- Technical proficiency in one or more of the following areas:
- Electric Power and Energy Systems (including energy harvesting, power electronics, semiconductor devices, etc.)
- Integrated Circuits and Microsystems (covering RF and millimeter-wave technologies, high-energy systems, imaging/detection, read-out integrated circuits, etc.)
- Electromagnetics (focusing on transformation electromagnetics/optics, Fourier/Wavelet analysis, electromagnetic interference and shielding techniques, antenna design, etc.)
- Ability to articulate complex and innovative ideas through technical writing and presentations
- Demonstrated history of innovation through journal publications and/or patents
