About the Role

Join our team at Tewksbury Hospital, a Joint Commission accredited 370-bed hospital operated by the Department of Public Health (DPH), as a Nursing Assistant. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive treatment, care, and comfort to adults with medical and/or mental illnesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to patients with chronic medical problems, acute exacerbations, and diminished capabilities in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
  • Record vital signs and enter data into Meditech, while maintaining accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to understand written/oral instructions and work collaboratively as a team member.
  • Skilled in empathizing with patients and communicating effectively, with knowledge of laws and regulations concerning patient rights.
  • Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships, meet physical demands of the position, and focus on patient care excellence and safety.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range: $26,762.58 - $56,405.18 per annum, based on hours worked (24, 32, or 40 hours per week). Other benefits include free on-site parking, access to in-house training and CEU programs, an on-site gym, cafeteria, and vendor-operated daycare.
