Property Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential property. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in multifamily and affordable housing management, ensuring efficient management of resources, superior tenant satisfaction, and compliance with housing regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operations of a multifamily property, including low-income housing, to ensure a positive living environment for residents.
  • Oversee tenant relations, leasing, and renewals to meet occupancy goals and maintain a high level of tenant satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage property budgets, including rent collections and cost control, to ensure financial stability and compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair work to ensure high standards of living conditions and minimize downtime.
  • Foster a positive living environment for residents by responding to their needs promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in multifamily property management, including affordable housing, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and rent collection, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with tenants, staff, and external partners.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
