Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the completion of property accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Conduct move-out inspections to determine security deposit dispositions and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor property conditions and make recommendations for improvements to ensure a high level of resident satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations for funding sources, including LIHTC, RTC, Project-Based Section 8, and Public Housing.
  • Provide direction and delegate tasks to property staff, including leasing, resident relations, and maintenance.
  • Lease apartments, including conducting reference and credit checks, processing applications, and preparing lease documents.
  • Coordinate move-ins, including unit inspections and resident orientations.
  • Monitor advertising and maintain waiting lists to ensure full occupancy.
  • Enforce and follow all Fair Housing rules and regulations.
  • Respond to resident complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Housing Program Regulations and Compliance, including experience with Tax Credits, Project-Based Section 8, and Public Housing.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current insurance.
  • Solid knowledge of Fair Housing Laws, leasing and resident relations, and computer skills.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in property management.
  • Ability to give direction, delegate responsibility, and promote a positive work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project-Based Section 8 experience.

Compensation:

$31 - $33/hour, depending on experience.
