About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Community Choice Financial Family of Brands. As a key member of our financial services team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer experiences and ensuring seamless transactions in our fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build Strong Customer Relationships: Forge connections with customers to cultivate lasting relationships that drive repeat business and foster a loyal customer base.
  • Transaction Processing: Skillfully review, validate, and process customer transactions with accuracy, including check cashing, money transfer, and customer payments.
  • Financial Solutions: Proactively maximize customer success by offering personalized financial services that fit their lifestyle and financial needs.
  • Customer Data Management: Enter and maintain customer information with precision and integrity into our Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
  • Business Development: Build new business by completing inbound and outbound call campaigns daily and identifying opportunities to increase customer engagement.
  • Customer Account Management: Assist in customer account management and collections by accepting payments, monitoring, and managing customer appointments.
  • Store Operations: Maintain internal and external store appearance and meet cleanliness standards to enhance the customer experience.
  • Compliance and Security: Uphold compliance with Company policies and procedures, and all relevant local, state, and federal laws and regulations, while maintaining office security protocols and conducting proper opening and closing procedures.
  • Training and Development: Engage in ongoing training and remain updated on our evolving products and processes to ensure exceptional customer service and support.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professionalism: Professional demeanor with customers and peers
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and ability to accurately enter data
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Background Check: Background check required (subject to applicable law)
  • Physical Demands: Ability to meet the physical demands for this position, which frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time, the ability to move and transport up to 25 pounds, the ability to move about inside and outside of the store, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience: Experience in check cashing, document verification, and/or money order processing
  • Cash Handling: Prior cash handling, cash drawer/vault management experience
  • Language Skills: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus and may be required for certain locations
