Job Overview

This role is primarily based at our corporate headquarters.

Occasional travel may be required for on-site support at various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address and resolve IT-related issues through various communication channels
  • Offer application support for Epicor Eclipse ERP software
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network challenges
  • Debug applications and facilitate software upgrades
  • Assist in setting up equipment and installing software
  • Resolve network connectivity problems
  • Identify and source replacements for outdated hardware
  • Provide training to users on IT systems and best practices
  • Maintain and enhance IT documentation and knowledge repositories
  • Uphold strict confidentiality regarding access to sensitive information

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in IT support
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Proficient knowledge of commonly used software and hardware, especially Epicor Eclipse
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively gather information and explain technical concepts
  • Strong written communication skills for maintaining support logs
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve issues
  • Advanced skills in handling IT equipment and installations
  • Effective time management to provide timely updates and resolutions
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Observational skills to detect early signs of potential issues
  • Willingness to work on-site and travel as necessary
  • Valid driver's license to operate company vehicles

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL, Microsoft certifications)
  • Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems
  • Understanding of basic networking and security principles

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods
  • Proficient use of computer equipment for prolonged durations
  • Capability to climb ladders as needed
  • May require standing, bending, kneeling, or reaching
  • Exposure to various environmental conditions while providing support

Compensation: $17 - $23 per hour
