Role Overview:

The Operations Field Specialist (OFS) will take ownership of designated service territories within the branch, focusing on operational tasks as outlined in the responsibilities. This role involves ensuring the availability of skilled Technicians for service execution, covering Residential, Small Accounts, and SMEs.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Core Operations

  • Guarantee the presence of trained and certified Technicians at all times, adhering to Technical Training Guidelines.
  • Mentor and develop assigned technicians to enhance service quality and customer loyalty in the designated area, following service SOPs.
  • Ensure that Technicians have access to necessary materials and tools in optimal condition, in line with service SOPs.
  • Conduct daily briefings to communicate safety protocols and specific instructions to Technicians based on directives from the Sales Team.
  • Facilitate effective use of SCP devices by Technicians, addressing any issues and providing refresher training as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date service documentation in the 'Partner Kit' as per contractual obligations.
  • Implement and ensure compliance with service SOPs, safety regulations, and operational standards.
  • Conduct a minimum of 15 customer visits weekly, including surprise checks, route rides, and audits.
  • Utilize approved products and materials in accordance with service SOPs.
  • Oversee proper storage and disposal of materials, ensuring adherence to good practices.
  • Establish and follow a maintenance schedule for equipment.
  • Manage technician schedules to maintain operational KPIs during absences.
  • Ensure Technicians perform treatments within the designated Standard Treatment Time (STT).
  • Approve conveyance expenses for assigned Technicians.
  • Promote high grooming standards among Technicians.

B. Advanced Operations

  • Conduct Pest Management Inspections and audits for assigned accounts.
  • Plan and execute Technicians Performance Assessments (TPAs) and development programs annually.
  • Identify and resolve service delivery challenges in collaboration with the Branch Manager.
  • Address customer complaints per management SOP and ensure timely resolution.
  • Analyze service complaints and enhance the skills of Technicians to minimize issues.
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements related to service operations.
  • Monitor material consumption and report discrepancies to the line manager.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels and manage inventory effectively.
  • Drive service productivity and efficiency metrics.
  • Conduct Pest Management Inspections using appropriate tools.
  • Encourage Technicians to submit service leads as per targets.
  • Report on input costs and develop action plans to meet budgetary constraints.
  • Support Technicians in managing grievances and operational issues.
  • Monitor any factors that could affect service quality or technician productivity.
  • Engage in self-development to stay updated on industry innovations and service standards.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Achieve 100% completion of Pest Management Inspections.
  • Meet material consumption targets as per branch objectives.
  • Complete TPAs and development plans as scheduled.
  • Maintain low complaint rates per Technician.
  • Ensure all Technicians are trained and qualified as per guidelines.
  • Achieve high scores in self-assessment and development activities.

Requirements:

Essential Skills:

  • Technical knowledge of pest management processes and equipment.

Educational Qualifications:

A minimum of a B.Sc. in Chemistry, Zoology, or Agriculture is required. Previous experience in pest management operations or related service industries is advantageous. Proficiency in computer applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is essential.
