Position Overview

The Field Operations Supervisor is responsible for recruiting, training, and overseeing the Field Service Technicians and Retail Merchandisers at designated locations. This role ensures that all field service equipment, including In-Store Baggers and Direct Store Delivery Merchandisers, operates at optimal efficiency. The supervisor will report directly to the Market Manager regarding daily service operations and will liaise with the Regional Vice President as necessary.

This is a full-time, permanent role with Reddy Ice, offering a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a company-matching 401(k) plan. Health and wellness benefits are available from the first day of employment.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in managing technical teams
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, as the role may require the use of a company vehicle
  • Experience in refrigeration systems and possession of EPA certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Trade School Certification

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This position involves significant local travel with minimal overnight stays. The supervisor will frequently work in retail environments, traveling between stores and the production facility. Candidates must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and have the ability to climb ladders and utilize light-duty tools.
