About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our team at Nomic. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Identify and engage with potential clients, presenting all aspects of our nELISA platform effectively.
  • Conduct and create technical sales presentations for prospective customers.
  • Generate new business by prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals.
  • Balance strategic and transactional opportunities to optimize sales outcomes and manage sales funnel health for accurate forecasting.
  • Collaborate with internal Customer Success and Product teams to create solutions based on customer-driven insights and feedback.
  • Attend industry and academic conferences as a technical sales lead.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor offerings, and funding intel to identify new opportunities.
Requirements
  • MS or PhD in a relevant field, e.g., Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, especially in Pharma and Biotech accounts.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to quickly comprehend novel applications to maximize use cases for Nomic products and services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in clearly articulating and presenting concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in CRM software utilization, forecasting, and funnel management.
  • Ability to travel ~50% of the time.
