About the Role

As a Portfolio Development Manager at PRG Technical, you will play a key role in driving the portfolio strategy for our assigned product or portfolio within the Field Service organization. This position is aligned with our overall sales strategy and focuses on market development, customer coordination, and providing technical and commercial support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the Portfolio Strategy: Develop and execute the portfolio strategy for the Field Service organization, taking into account the sales strategy and market trends.
  • Market Development: Realize the volume ramp-up agreed between Sales and the business unit, covering market development from Awareness to Repeat in known markets.
  • Customer Coordination: Actively develop the market and raise local awareness of the product portfolio, together with Regional Sales Managers (RSM)/Area Sales Managers (ASM), through activities such as sales pitches, local events, presentations, and pilot projects.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate projects with customers, such as pilot projects and/or providing instructions for agents.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical and general commercial support, as well as train sales colleagues (ASM/ASE) on assigned products, including collaborating on marketing materials and locally required documentation (together with RSM).
  • Market Feedback: Reflect market feedback to the product management team.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Participate in the negotiation and closing of framework agreements in close coordination with ASM/RSM.
  • Customer Visits: Visit customers on your own initiative, if necessary, to achieve set goals (with notification to ASM about any actions).
