About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  1. Drive technical sales strategies and deliver additional revenue from assigned accounts.
  2. Act as a key partner of the Account Executive/sales representative.
  3. Map to several accounts across one or more practices, driving opportunities and new relationships within accounts.

Key Activities

  1. Acting as a technical sales lead, driving opportunities and deals.
  2. Providing oversight for pre-sales deals, engaging Solution Architects & Post-Sales Team as needed.
  3. Developing proposals and collaborating with pre-sales engineering teams.
  4. Attending customer meetings to understand and articulate business and technical strategy.
  5. Providing qualification of designs or opportunities and producing technical architecture/design documentation.
  6. Acting as design authority for nominated key accounts.
  7. Working as technical designer on enterprise scale, mission-critical customer networking projects.
  8. Working with peers to advise and recommend on future technology and services.
  9. Working closely with vendor partners to keep up to date with current and future technologies, products and strategies.
  10. Engaging in and managing customer demonstrations and Proofs of Concept.
  11. Ensuring end to end delivery to client.

Requirements

  1. 7+ years of experience in designing, developing, configuring, and implementing enterprise networks with diverse solutions from multiple vendors.
  2. 5+ years as a presales solutioning professional.
  3. Experience with IT delivery methodologies.
  4. Ability to develop and maintain client engagements/relationships.
  5. Ability to design in-depth, complex networking solutions.
  6. Demonstrable ability to provide input into commercial/technical documents and to develop solution specific business cases.
  7. Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  8. Cisco Certifications a plus.
  9. Enterprise and data center networking experience preferred.
