Role Overview
In the capacity of an IT Support Specialist, you will be instrumental in:

  • Utilizing technology to meet business requirements and limitations.
  • Assisting personnel in optimizing the use of computing technology and maximizing resource utilization.
  • Combining extensive IT technical knowledge with a strong commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Participating in organization-wide IT projects and initiatives.
  • Diagnosing hardware, software, and operational issues.
  • Providing advanced troubleshooting for complex IT challenges.
  • Offering support for software applications and conducting desk-side training for enterprise applications as needed.
  • Managing hardware and software requisitions as directed.
  • Supporting the IT Support team with inventory management of desktops, laptops, printers, and other personal hardware assets.
  • Coordinating local office communication regarding technical support topics.
  • Understanding client business needs and aligning technology solutions accordingly.
  • Collaborating with Systems Administrators on assigned IT infrastructure processes.

Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with MicroStation, AutoCAD, ProjectWise, and/or GIS is advantageous. This role may require travel.

Required Qualifications
An Associate's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience is essential. A minimum of one year of experience in technical support for PCs, networks, and servers is required. Candidates should possess:

  • Proficient knowledge of personal computers and peripherals.
  • Experience in systems operations and maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of Windows 7/10/365 and Windows Server 2003/2008/2012.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent client service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision.
