Front Office Manager

As a key member of the Halekulani Hotel team, the Front Office Manager plays a vital role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This includes providing top-notch customer service, serving as a liaison between the hotel and guests, and overseeing the front office team to maintain high standards of efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train and retrain front office team members to ensure they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional guest service.
- Conduct performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement and provide coaching and counseling to team members.
- Manage and develop the performance of the front office team, including hiring, onboarding, and scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures, including accident prevention and safety protocols.
- Coordinate VIP and return guest reservations, including check-in and check-out, special requests, and amenity arrangements.
- Assist with correspondence to guests and hotel partners, including email, thank-you letters, and responses to online feedback.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate.
- Minimum two years of supervisory experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on hotel front operations.
- Proficiency in MS and Windows operating systems.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and maintain a high level of guest service.
- Physical ability to access all work areas and perform tasks required for the job.
Working Conditions:
- Occasional exposure to outdoors, humidity, noise, noxious odors, and dust.
- Ability to work various days and/or evenings, including weekends and holidays, as operation dictates.
