Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and assist customers at the Parts Counter, ensuring exceptional service and addressing any questions they may have
Understand customer needs and suggest suitable parts or products to fulfill their requests
Process orders for parts and products using the dealership's computer system while adhering to established procedures
Perform inventory assessments and retrieve parts from storage as necessary
Manage invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness
Maintain a tidy and organized Parts Counter area, restocking shelves and keeping inventory levels current
Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and inventory status to provide knowledgeable assistance to customers
Effectively communicate with other departments, such as Service and Sales, to ensure prompt and efficient order fulfillment
Achieve and surpass sales targets and quotas set by management
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines in the workplace
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in the automotive industry and/or parts sales is preferred
Exceptional communication and customer service abilities
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in computer and internet usage
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
