JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective: The primary responsibilities of this role involve delivering technical support for knowledge-based services to the ACC Command, Control, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Division (A3C), with a focus on the Air Operations Center (AOC), Control and Reporting Center (CRC), Battle Control Center (BCC), Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD), Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS), Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS), E-11 Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN), and Airborne Reconnaissance Operations.
This position necessitates direct interaction with USAF personnel both on-site and remotely. It requires independent research and analysis, effective communication, thorough documentation, and adept problem-solving skills.
Essential Functions:
1. Engage in AOC-related exercises, tests, experimentation, and staff-level events to contribute to the sustainability and modernization of the AOC and its associated infrastructure.
2. Provide counsel to leadership and propose strategies to enhance AOC processes, procedures, and doctrine; assess AOC staffing levels, efficiency, and overall effectiveness.
