About the Role

Aon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Alternative Risk Transfer (ART) team in the US. As a Strategic Risk Solutions Leader, you will play a critical role in driving the execution of our ART strategic initiatives, working closely with our Commercial Risk clients and Aon colleagues to develop innovative solutions to address emerging needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of processes to improve client service and replicate growth in the ART space.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Risk clients and Aon colleagues to develop new value-generating ideas and alternatives to traditional risk transfer approaches.
  • Work with account executives and brokers to uncover unique challenges that warrant consideration of alternative risk transfer solutions.
  • Partner with insurers, other capital providers, and Aon colleagues to develop and implement ART solutions.
  • Drive the execution of Commercial Risk priorities, including strategic solutions, innovation, thought leadership, and the adoption of risk analytics and related tools.
  • Assist in the development of purposeful solutions and the coordination of strategic risk consulting recommendations.
  • Lead the delivery of Aon United processes through the contribution to large RFP project responses.
  • Own an innovation agenda and collaborate with other Aon teams to find opportunities to develop Aon-specific MGA's and similar aggregation vehicles and concepts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of broking, account management, or insurance experience.
  • Interest in alternative risk transfer solutions, such as parametric insurance, multi-year structured programs, and captive aggregate stop loss solutions.
  • Proven thought leadership and comfort with developing technology tools to assist ART team workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide insight and recommendations via creative solutions to sophisticated problems.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to challenge status quo ideas.
  • Ability to work in a sophisticated matrix environment across various functional, business, and geographic leaders while motivating and inspiring others.
