Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dietitian to join our team at Providence St. Patrick Hospital. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing quality health care to our patients by directing and supervising personnel in the Food and Nutrition department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise personnel in the Food and Nutrition department to provide quality health care to patients.
  • Collaborate with food service staff to ensure nutritionally balanced and appetizing meals are served to patients.
  • Provide medical nutrition therapy, nutrition support, and nutrition education to patients in various settings.
  • Perform nutritional assessments and implement nutritional care plans.
  • Document assessments and re-assessments in the computer medical record.
  • Attend multi-disciplinary rounds and care-conferences to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide education to physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff on evidence-based practices in clinical nutrition.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Post-graduate internship accredited by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Within 6 months of hire: Montana Nutritionist License.
  • Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration.
