Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, MT. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing quality healthcare to our patients by directing and supervising personnel in the Food and Nutrition department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical nutrition therapy, nutrition support, and nutrition education to patients in various settings, including ICU and floor units.
  • Perform nutritional assessments and implement nutritional care plans, documenting all assessments and re-assessments in the medical record.
  • Collaborate with food service staff to provide nutritionally balanced and appetizing meals to patients.
  • Attend multi-disciplinary rounds and care conferences to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide education to physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff on evidence-based practices in clinical nutrition.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Post-graduate internship accredited by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Within 6 months of hire, obtain a Montana Nutritionist License.
  • National CDR Registered Dietitian certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in an acute care facility.
